Vice President Business Transformation - MSP Steel & Power Ltd, Kolkata
I. Develop and Implement Business Transformation Strategy:
- Define and articulate the vision, goals, and roadmap for business transformation initiatives aligned with the organization's strategic objectives
- Lead large-scale Data & AI including Generative AI strategy and transformation pursuits from business development, ideation, commercials, to delivery
- Build Data & (Generative) AI practice for all business verticals & functions in line with the business goals
- Develop Data strategy including data governance, executing analytics and data maturity assessments
- Establish frameworks, methodologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across all functions and departments
- Identify and prioritize technology investments that support business objectives and drive value creation
- Establish regional and global partnerships, dealers, distributors and supplier ecosystem on sales, delivery, data, and cloud services through Bandhan, Udaan etc
- Overall process improvement study, identify opportunities & define projects for implementation
- Operate cross-functionally in digital initiatives and translate business needs to a systems solutions landscape and specific digital solutions within it
II. Performance Monitoring and Measurement:- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor business performance, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop dashboards, scorecards, and reporting mechanisms to track progress, analyse trends, and identify opportunities for performance improvement, and knowledge sharing
- Programme managing and tracking business impacts for the digital and data science driven initiatives for the sales team productivity increase as well as market share gain, channel expansion and go-to-market strategy
III. Lead Machine Learning Initiatives:- Drive the adoption of machine learning algorithms and predictive analytics to unlock insights, optimize processes, and drive informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy machine learning models for forecasting, predictive maintenance, risk management, and other strategic applications
IV. Drive Cultural Transformation:- Lead change management efforts to foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement throughout the organization
- Engage stakeholders at all levels to gain buy-in and commitment to transformational goals and initiatives
V. Innovation and Digital Transformation:- Drive innovation and digital transformation initiatives to leverage emerging technologies, improve business processes, and create value-added solutions for customers
- Provide solution development effort, benefits plan, return on investment, and cost estimation for digital demands
- Identify technology partners for developing a long-term association to cater to Organization's digital needs and achieve the business objectives
- Explore opportunities for automation, digitization, and smart manufacturing to enhance productivity, agility, and competitiveness
- Lead as the primary business stakeholder and the Strategy lead for external consulting engagements to ensure strategic alignment on key objectives
- Manage budgets related to transformation projects
- Ensure cost-effective allocation of resources and achievement of financial targets
