Role Description :

- This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Operations Manager at MSP Steel in Odisha, India.

- The Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing daily operational activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and leading a team of employees to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operational Oversight: Manage and oversee all daily operations within the plant, ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently.

- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety and quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of employees, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any operational issues that arise, making quick and effective decisions to keep production on track.

- Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvements and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.

- Reporting: Prepare and present operational reports to senior management, providing insights into performance metrics and areas of improvement.

Qualifications:

- Significant experience in steel manufacturing or a related industry.

- Deep understanding of operational processes and safety regulations.

- Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven track record of managing large teams.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications in operations management is a plus
