Senior Fund Accountant

New Delhi based Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company providing investment support services to mutual funds and investment management companies is looking for an entrepreneurial Chief Executive Officer to lead the next stage of growth. Our key clients include funds managed by Singapore-based Fund Manager.

Job Description -

The fund accountant will be required to undertake full end to end responsibility for the client reporting cycle:

- Computation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly shadow Net Asset Value of the funds

- Ensuring accurate capturing of trades (fixed income, equities, derivatives), incomes, expenditures, accruals, as well as amortizations

- Settlement of trades, reconciliation of cash, securities, and derivatives

- Complete accounting of fund management company and investment vehicles (SPVs)

- Liaising with investment team, bankers, custodians, fund administrator, etc.

- Finalisation of fund and fund manager accounts under IFRS

- Assist in risk management and due diligence

- Investor servicing: subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and distributions

- All periodic reporting to the regulatory authorities, internal auditor and management

Candidate Profile

- A Chartered Accountant with 7-10 years of experience in business process outsourcing and wanting to take a larger role of leading the company.

- The candidates should have hands-on experience in fund accounting managing multiple NAVs in tight timelines, accounting for multiple investment companies, strong understanding of IFRS, and valuation of various investment instruments.

- Excellence in MS Word and MS Excel, basic programming skills, and exposure to fund accounting software and Tally would be required.

- You will be required to communicate directly with investment team, bankers, brokers, fund administrators, auditors, etc. Strong communication skills and demonstrated track-record of initiatives are necessary.

- Utmost integrity and self-drive are essential.
