Salary Offered: 14 - 18 LPA
Duties of this position include but are not limited to :
1. Coordinating assigned activities to ensure cooperation between department employees for optimal efficiency.
2. Procuring various goods and services consistent with established procedures and practices assigned by the purchasing department.
3. Processing bid sureties and maintaining accurate records to assure accounting compliance within established guidelines.
4. Ensuring that procurement documents are maintained in a systematic retrievable manner.
5. Overseeing and supervising general office operations.
6. Assist the purchasing agent with recommendations for the employment and assignment of purchasing assistants.
7. Preparing confidential information.
8. Performing other duties as assigned.
9. Control purchasing department budgets.
10. Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
11. Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
12. Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials.
13. Review, evaluate, and approve specifications for issuing and awarding bids.
14. Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies.
15) Prepare bid awards requiring board approval.
16) Prepare reports regarding market conditions and merchandise costs.
17) Administer on-line purchasing systems.
18) Arrange for disposal of surplus materials.
