US TAX Specialist

We are seeking intellectually curious and motivated team members to join our Business & Tax Services Division at Assurant

Responsibilities include :

- Preparing tax returns and workpapers for corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates, and individuals;

- Providing tax planning and consulting services and researching tax issues; and

- Assisting with tax audits.

- Focused on business returns such as Form 1065 (partnership), 1120 (corporate), 1120 consolidated returns, 1120S (S corp) and/or Form 1041 trust returns

Ideal candidate qualifications :

- Bachelor or Masters' degree in Accounting or Tax

- At least 3 years of public accounting experience

- CPA license preferred

- Conscientious, diligent, and able to manage workflow and juggle competing priorities; and Versatile, flexible, and resourceful.
