THIS IS A FULL-TIME POSITION BASED IN BANGALORE, INDIA AND REPORTING DIRECTLY TO THE ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF CORPORATE STRATEGY THE ROLE : You will be working with the CEO and Associate Director of Corporate Strategy to develop and fuel MPOWER's strategic communications strategy. The ideal candidate would be responsible for (but not limited to): - Finding, following, and interacting with key industry influencers in Fintech, EdTech, and Impact investing &nbsp;-Conducting targeted outreach globally for press coverage, panel/speaker opportunities, and awards - Assembling press releases and seeking targeted distribution - Writing, publishing, and coordinating original, creative content - Publishing monthly company newsletters - Hiring and managing an external PR agency and content producers/blog writers - Coordinating and promoting events for the local fintech and edtech communities in the US and India - Coordinating, managing, and posting to MPOWER and eduPASS's social media accounts in partnership with the Marketing team - Develop and execute on a strategy to measure, improve, and communicate MPOWER's social impact - Assist with creating investor-facing communication, including fundraising pitch decks and reporting for shareholders and the Board of Directors THE QUALIFICATIONS : - Bachelor's degree, ideally in the U.S. or Canada, preferably in Communication, Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or other related fields - Advanced degree in communications or journalism preferred - At least 5 years in marketing communications, public relations, business development, corporate/strategic communications, or investor relations - Very strong written communication skills - clear, concise, compelling - in both English and Hindi - Experience using Mailchimp, Salesforce, and/or other CRM/communication tools - Fluent usage of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Graphic design and/or lead management skills a plus A passion for financial inclusion and access to higher education is a must, as well as comfort working with a global team across multiple-time zones and sites! In addition, you should be comfortable working in a fast growth environment, meaning a small agile team, fast-evolving roles and responsibilities, variable workload and tight deadlines, a high degree of autonomy, and 80-20 everything.
