Some of our marquee investors include Sequoia Capital, SIG, Times Internet, and GoVentures. We currently have over 80 games on our platform. Multiple mainstream as well as Indie game developers are our partners. Creating and re inventing has been a key practice here and at this point we require folks who can help us keep pace with the dynamic ecosystem we are all a part of.


About the role:


- MPL is looking to hire a Financial Planning Specialist who will work in close collaboration with many of the key leaders within business and the broader finance organization.


- MPL is a high growth and increasingly complex business that operates in one of the most disruptive sectors - gaming & entertainment. The incumbent will be expected to drive planning for the entire organization, create ad-hoc forecasts and enable multiple scenario analysis and planning.


Roles & Responsibilities:


Forecasting, Planning & Analysis:


- Develop, own, analyze and report the Annual Operating Plan, financial budgets and periodic forecasts, capital allocation and runway


- Work closely with business unit leaders and business finance to build out Revenue, Marketing and opex forecasting models, consolidate the same and present to the executive leadership team


- Manage a monthly rolling forecast and provide timely insights into performance against budget / forecast


- Lead the global annual budgeting and monthly and quarterly rolling forecasts for P&L and cash flows with multiple scenarios


Business Partnership:


- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, offering insights and financial perspective to support strategic decision-making


Reporting:


External: Assist with the preparation of Investor & Board reports for business and financial performance


Internal: Prepare regular financial reports and dashboards for senior leadership, showcasing business performance, financial trends, and key performance indicators


Corporate Development:


- Assist with execution of M&A, (debt and equity) fundraising and strategic Investments and Investor Relations


Requirements:


- Either a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field or Chartered Accountant or MBA from a reputed institution


- Business savvy - Proficient understanding of business scenarios and diligent


- Strong analytical, financial modeling and interpersonal skills


- Good presentation and spreadsheet skills (e.g. Excel, Powerpoint, Google Sheets, Google Slides)


- Good stakeholder management and other interpersonal skills


Good to have:


- Experience in D2C or digital industries preferred (especially startups


- Experience working with cross-functional teams within companies


- Experience working with a reputed professional services firm or investment bank


- Experience working with cross-national teams in Asia and Europe


- Specific experience working with NetSuite and Google Workplace
