Roles & responsibilities:

- Overall responsibility of managing software delivery (both from timeline and quality point of view) of MphRx's software development team. Use a combination of leadership skills and objective/KRA driven management practices to effectively manage a team of software developers, leads and managers.

- Work with software architects to refine the roadmap of MphRx's next generation application architecture based on MphRx's business vision of offering a loosely coupled, extendible, componentized architecture.

- Work closely with CTO in continuously refining processes to facilitate production of high quality, scalable modules by vertical development teams. Create design and coding practices guidelines to be followed by team

- Be the primary source of innovations leveraging cutting edge technologies and frameworks in the open source/Java world to augment MphRx's web and mobile platforms

Requirements

- B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science/Engineering (MS preferred) with 15+ years of experience

- Proficient in Object Oriented Design and programming (Java) and well-versed with best of breed programming practices and standards

- 5+ years- experience in working with open source systems and frameworks like Linux, Tomcat and Mysql Experience with at least one NoSQL database a must (MongoDB preferred)

- 8+ years in technical leadership/management positions

- Proficiency (3+ years- experience) in Spring and Grails/Struts2, Hibernate and JUnit

- 2+ experience in designing and developing rich internet user interfaces using Bootstrap and AngularJS/React

- Track record of designing and developing multi-tiered large scale web-based n-tier applications preferably involving information retrieval and caching sub-systems

- High personal and professional maturity level and team player abilities across multiple organization levels (ability to create synergy and evangelize)

- Small learning curve, inquisitiveness and ability to contribute and absorb in a continuous learning environment

- Project management skills required to deliver turnkey projects using cutting edge (sometimes unproven) technologies
