Job Overview


The Account Based Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategy and implementation of effective Account Based Marketing programs that meet the growth objectives of the business, with a strong emphasis on driving pipeline generation exclusively from a top target account list and accelerating existing opportunities.

He/She will partner with the strategic accounts sales team to drive sales pipeline and revenue through account-targeted programs and will own the overall responsibility for planning and executing a multitude of marketing programs in strategic accounts.

The role will also support strong partnership with the sales teams and with key stakeholders within the Marketing organization.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Define Account Based Marketing strategy and execution planning, encompassing the required ABM tools for assigned strategic accounts

- Own and manage our Account Based Marketing plans for assigned strategic accounts

- Partner with Sales Leaders and Client Partners to develop regional, account focused playbooks including, but not limited to, nurture, channel activities, live/online events with the goal of building and accelerating the pipeline.

- Collaborate and partner with core marketing functions on campaign concept, custom content requirements, digital marketing support and creative development to ensure effectiveness for regional named accounts.

- Identify the most effective marketing messages, value proposition, materials, channels, and calls to action for key accounts

- Build/manage ABM metrics to ensure business impact measured by named account

- Manage project timelines, quality issues, resources, & budgets

- Assist with account research and campaign planning, development and execution

Qualifications

Experience

- Overall 10+ years experience with 3 plus years of proven multi-channel marketing and Account Based Marketing with large multinationals/IT firms

- Having worked with BFSI clients will be an added advantage

Specific Skills

- CRM/marketing automation background like Salesforce and Marketo

- Understanding of pipeline management and metrics.

- Demonstrated experience overseeing various marketing program executions

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills a must. Strong influencing and relationship-building skills.

- Personal Characteristics

- Highly organized and efficient with the ability to develop and execute against an evolving plan and ability to prioritize numerous projects simultaneously

- Proactive self-starter, demonstrating high initiative and critical thinking. Proven ability to think strategically, but with exceptional attention to detail in execution.

- Education and Certifications

- Graduate/Postgraduate

- ITSMA/similar ABM certification preferable
