Management Trainee

Summary

Responsible for working alongside managers and accepting delegated responsibilities and duties with the goal of eventually becoming a manager.

You may be the ideal MT candidate if:

- A quick learner and proactive in nature

- Appreciate working with technology and people

- Can manage ambiguity i.e. you’d rather be thrown into the deep end of the pool and solve complex real world problems for yourself rather than have your hand held

- Can take initiatives and truly care about the results of what you drive

- Adapt to change well, and aren’t particularly fazed by course changes

Basic Qualifications

Education:

UG - Any Graduate - Any Specialization. (PG preferred)

PG - Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization, (MBA preferred)

Work Experience:

Duration: 0 to 1 years

Preferred Industry: Technology, BPO/ITES, Consulting, Defence Forces, Retail

Desired candidate should have:

- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, active listening).

- High responsiveness, persistence, strong work ethics.

- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.

- Ability to effectively collaborate, negotiate and persuade, while maintaining positive relationships with team members, internal partners, clients, and third party partners

- Comfortable with fast paced environment and all aspects of change management.

- Strong mastery of Microsoft Office tools

- Willingness to travel.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Work with other managers to plan and direct the work of the organization.

- Work in different departments to gain perspective, including marketing, sales, customer services, purchasing, merchandising, and personnel departments.

- Handle established accounts to gain familiarity.

- Adhere to guidelines of formal written training program.

- Attend periodic evaluations

- Work with and through management to develop and implement actions that protect company assets and profitability
