Motilal Oswal - Assistant Manager - Derivatives Research

This entry-level position is ideal for individuals interested in pursuing a career in finance, particularly within the derivatives sector. You will assist in researching and analyzing derivatives markets, products, and strategies. You will be responsible for conducting market research, analyzing data, and providing valuable insights to support the organization's trading and risk management decisions.

Qualification/Skills criteria :

1. A Degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.

2. Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial markets and derivatives.

3. Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, Python, or R.

4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

5. A strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

5. An understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements in the derivatives industry is a plus.

6. Basic understanding of derivatives, single stock and index futures/options

7. Strong analytical abilities

8. Ability to work with large data sets on excel

9. Knowledge of Excel macro or Python will be an advantage
