- Setting up meetings with large prospective customers to sell the company's products and services.
- Identifying sales opportunities as a result of market changes.
- Forming strategic partnerships with other companies to leverage their existing networks.
- Negotiating sales contracts with customers and ensuring their profitability.
- Responsible for the overall management of all strategic and operational Marketing and Customer Relationship activities.
- Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas.
- Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company's ambitious growth.
- Working to stringent targets, the job holder will be required to adopt a professional and knowledgeable approach to each new business call.
- Setting the sales strategy and identifying target sectors, brands and content streams.
- Liaise between the company directors and clients, as well as technical crew and stakeholders.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Preferably an MBA with at least 3-5 years of domain experience - in Sales and Business Development with experience of having handled Project Management.
- Must have a proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets with direct and relevant experience.
- Strong relationships with key branding agencies across Pan India and global clients as well.
- Ambitious and target focused with a drive to succeed.
- Should have a working knowledge of the advertising industry, proven ability to secure and then effectively manage high profile and value key partners
- First class negotiation and influencing skills - able to work at all levels and be able to influence and steer partner decisions
- Strong communication and planning skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
- Must have a proven business development track record, be self-motivated and self-disciplined
- Will need to show confident sales skills and creative thinking in the capture of New Business
- Should provide examples of vision and planning, achieving positive results and winning business
- Excellent presentation, public speaking skills and networking skills
- Should have a proven track record of building long-standing business relationships
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Multilingual capabilities would be useful
