Roles And Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales quota set by management by implementing effective sales strategies and tactics.
- Maintain and enhance the knowledge and expertise of the sales team to ensure their effectiveness in their assigned roles.
- Build and lead a productive sales team to boost sales performance and meet sales targets.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to the sales team to enhance their skills and contribute to the company's image.
- Ensure proper administration and efficient functioning of the sales department.
- Provide assistance to sales personnel in dealing with debtor's collection, problematic customers, and other related tasks.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
- Coordinate with overseas agents to obtain competitive rates and arrange efficient shipment processes.
- Cultivate and maintain good relationships with carriers, co-loaders, and other vendors to minimize costs and ensure quality services.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints and specific requirements promptly and effectively.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Target Accounts List and monitor progress towards achieving targets.
- Provide support to the District Manager as needed.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Graduate with experience in business development or sales roles within the logistics and supply chain industry.
- MBA will be a plus
