The Role:

The Equity Data team is looking for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, creative, results-driven and proven Leader with 10+ years of solid experience in project/program management area i.e. leading team of data project specialist and project/program managing large complex data, technology, hybrid of data technology projects in financial/market data industry to join as Senior Manager/Manager Equity Data Project Specialist. This is a senior level position and the mandate is to drive best practices, provide direction, prioritize projects, come up with roadmap, manage the implementation and risk management of data projects. To this end as Senior Manager/Manager - Equity Data Project Specialist, you will work with senior stakeholders, content specialists, content researchers, developers, operation team members and analysts, quality assurance analysts, senior data leaders and client/third-party stakeholders to define, manage and implement high quality and timely projects. You will be a top performer who is prepared to think critically throughout the project management cycle and continuously seek improvements and efficiencies wherever possible during project implementation. You will work in a global environment, managing stakeholders in multiple regions. This position is based in our Mumbai office.

Responsibilities:

- Senior Stakeholder management and getting their buy in.

- Provide rigor to project management, including promoting the use of Lean Six Sigma, Agile, and Morningstars project management framework

- Set Direction, Prioritization of projects and develop road map

- Project Risk and Compliance Management

- Work with various members of the Equity Data teams to drive data projects from inception to completion.

- Work with Projects, technology and Integration Teams, and other stakeholders to create and groom the Equity Data project backlog

- Coordinate with resources across various teams including, technology, operations, methodology and product team

- Communicate clear and concise project status information to stakeholders including Data Leadership, the Sales teams, and external clients

- Create and Maintain dashboards which clearly provide full details and status of projects at a point of time.

- Lead and Manage small team of Data Project Specialist

Requirements :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering/Accounting/ Finance/ Business. (CFA/CA with technology background will be preferred)

- Fluent with MS Office, project management and collaborative tools

- Experience with SQL, AWS and Python will be preferred

- 10+ years of solid experience in project/program management area managing large, multiple, and complex Data, Technology and Hybrid data/technology projects in an agile framework. Candidates with this experience in Financial/Market Data Industry will be preferred.

- Proven Leader and strong team management experience.

- Should be a strong team player capable of building trust within the squad.

- Should be well versed in the art of stakeholder management.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and management skills.

- Proven track record of getting things done.

- Good understanding of Equity/Market data, Data Collection Tools, Data Feeds, Web Platforms and Systems.

- Able to contribute to global projects coordinating with the global operations teams, working across different time zones.

- Hands on in reporting the weekly, fortnightly, monthly project status to the stakeholders.

- Self-starter, comfortable with implementing and executing Agile development processes and accepting responsibility for seeing projects through to completion.
