Morgan Stanley - Manager - Data Analytics

We require a Manager level to assist our global team. The candidate's duties will include:

- Frequent interaction with counterparts in New York.

- Lead on gathering reporting requirements (from NY team) and help drive efficient report production and encourage opportunity for automation where possible (w/ team collaboration).

- Manage/Oversight of the reporting portfolio production and timely delivery. Own due diligence review of reports (before delivery/distribution) in an effort to maintain data quality of reporting and data extracts

- Oversee that reporting-related directories/folders/archives are organized and up to date and that reporting documentation efforts are in place and maintained (for coverage/cross training purposes)

- Act as the formal coverage for producing reports when needed (applies to full reporting portfolio).

- Strong in data analysis. Have the ability to - connect the dots- and interrogate data further - raise questions, issues and escalate as needed. Proactively see issues through to resolution

- Assist with templates, reconciliations and (standard & adhoc) reporting associated with the FY Audit planning process (specifics TBD)

Skills:

- Strong analytical and data analysis skills

- Proficiency in excel (Formulas, Pivot tables and Macros), PowerPoint and any database

- Hands-on experience with SQL

- Knowledge and experience in using database systems/tools and data mapping

- Detailed oriented

- Ability to scale up and work autonomously

- Adapts well to rapidly changing work environment (e.g., changing priorities, workload etc.)

- Quick learner with the ability and willingness to learn new things

- Providing deliverables and communicating with multiple stakeholders

- Comfortable with working on multiple projects simultaneously and managing timely delivery

- Experience with Qlikview or Cognos or any other BI tool is a plus

- Working knowledge of a UNIX/Linux and basic shell scripting is a plus

Work Experience :

- Preferably worked in similar role for around 4-5 years.

- Experience with working with a large amount of data

- Experience of creating Dashboards/KPI
