Key Responsibilities:

- To identify investment opportunities and build a steady pipeline of prospects with proactive strategies, based on market research and competitive analysis.

- Sourcing, analyzing, and working on due diligence of venture capital transactions to build a portfolio.

- Provide operational support to the portfolio companies.

- To build and curate a network of founders and entrepreneurs, universities, incubators, accelerators, angel networks, other VCs etc.

- To hold discussions with the startups, understand the business in detail and prepare financial model and other deal documents of the company.

- To analyze financial ratios to understand the financial health of potential investee companies.

- To develop and deliver periodic reports for portfolio review of the fund.

- Drive executive-level operations - strategic and OKR planning, business reviews, and meetings to facilitate effective decision-making throughout organization

- Anticipate and mitigate risks associated with management-owned deliverables and commitments.

- Establish and enforce a cadence for consolidation and reporting of related team metrics.

- Serve as go-to-resource for evaluation of presentations/communications and their Management readiness.

Knowledge & Skills:

The ideal candidate will have a relevant track record and combine strong interpersonal skills with a self-starting, proactive attitude.

The following qualifications are essential:

- 2-5 years of experience in venture capital fund, investment banking, corporate strategy, private equity funds or similar.

- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field required; MBA from a Premier School is preferred but not mandatory

- Outstanding analytical skills, problem solving skills, resourceful, and comfortable with operating in ambiguity

- Demonstrated strong capability in verbal and written communications skills for a geographically dispersed audience.

- High adaptability in learning - ability to learn and be comfortable with areas and topics outside of one's own domain of expertise. Must be willing to understand technology as well as financial and economic data

- The ability to summarize and present complex topics effectively to a wide audience.

- Entrepreneurial with a growth mindset

- Strong project and program management skills and experience.

- Strong executive presence with ability to manage through high-intensity, high-pressure
