Job Description

We seek Finance Professionals for setting up the Capital Markets Desk at MoonRun Capital. The role entail working around opportunities within the Indian Equity & Derivatives Market, based from our Mumbai office

Key Responsibilities:

- Fundamental Equity research analysis across sectors, building and maintaining financial models

- Should be well versed with Fundamental & technical skills

- Provide insights on various sectors; provide recommendations to the trading desk

- Initiation and maintenance of research on sectors that includes detailed analysis of business drivers, macro events, industrial and regulatory developments, high-reaching positioning and relative analysis with peers

- Generating innovative and successful investment ideas and solutions for internal trading desk Perform Financial Forecasting; analyze financial data, creation of financial models

- Examine financial statements - Income Statement, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow statements.

- Synthesize data to come up with new investment ideas and make recommendations about financial actions and decisions

- Evaluate risks and opportunities

- Analyze revenue on various sectors & cost parameters related to the sectors

Knowledge & Skills:

The ideal candidate will have relevant track record and combines strong interpersonal skills with a self-starting, pro-active attitude. The following qualifications are essential:

- Worked on 3-4 sectors, financial modelling and buy side analysis.

- A dynamic personality with outstanding analytical and problem solving skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate summarize and discuss investment case briefly. Manage work independently and take strong ownership of tasks.

- Results-oriented, hardworking who can work on own initiative whilst also working to deliver on time.

- High level of integrity, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards.

- Ability to connect with sell side analyst, correlate and understand border themes for 6 months to 1-year horizon.

- Attention to details and ability to pitch stocks based on collated data.

Experience and Academic Qualification:

- 2-3 Years' experience, institutional in equity research. (retail research can also be considered)

- Post-Graduation Degree in MBA/CA, CFA charter or working towards CFA charter would be advantageous.

- Strong relevant track record may also be considered in lieu of top academic pedigree.
