Role:

As part of the Data Science practice, you will be managing the analytics and reporting requirements of a major US bank. Key responsibilities include:

- Translate client challenges into actionable business intelligence solutions by partnering with the subject matter experts at the client firm

- Create centralized data marts by leveraging data sets originating from multiple business units

- Develop and manage bespoke xtract, transform, load (ETL) processes

- Ensure meticulous documentation of processes, meta data, query logics, and results

- Analyze underlying data sets, summarize finding and present insights using data visualization

- Create and update complex Tableau dashboards facilitating self-servicing of basic queries

- Identify current processes which are manually completed, apply process automation

- Ensure quality of data, analysis and reporting of the overall process

- Undertake bespoke modification requests from end users of the reporting outcomes

- Evaluate the end-to-end process and identify areas of advanced analysis

Experience

- Over 6 years of relevant experience in analytics and reporting

Education

- Master's in Statistics / Computer Applications / Technology, Bachelors in Engineering

Skills

- Developing data marts and data management using SQL, SSIS, Teradata,

- Creating powerful visual outcomes using Tableau

- Apply analytics thoughts using SAS EG, BASE SAS

- Ensure quality of deliverables within project timelines

- Independently manage daily client communication, especially over calls

- Drives the work towards completion with accuracy and timely deliverables

- Experience in supporting capital markets clientele is desirable

- Experience in using Cognos is desirable
