Monsanto - Asia Africa Engineering Project Controller

Responsibilities:

- Work with Engineering project team to control and manage project cost

- Supporting estimate and review for all capital projects in the region

- Develop capital expenses, forecast and expenditure curves

- Load forecast into SAP and work with regional engineering manager and St. Louis finance team for project control

- Prepare and present project cost report on regular interval

- Interface with engineering and contractors to validate cost control

- Continue oversight of engineering project cost to provide potential deviation and recommend corrective action to engineering project manager

- Should be able to work with all engineering team members and facilitate gathering of input related to project cost management and execution planning

- Work with project team to develop detailed project execution schedule

- Analyse engineering project events to accurately depict project status and schedule trait throughout the project life cycle

- Monitor and reconcile project cost report

- Work to improve estimating and scheduling practice tools with the project control tools

- Construction contractors cost management monitoring along with change order in SAP for receiving and allowing invoice payment

- Work with respective project managers for guidance on cost management for effective cost controls

- Discuss actuals and forecast report with individual project manager for deviation and retrieval mechanism

- Work with business lead and Engineering lead to drive a common capital governance platform for all capital investment in the region

- Own and monitor the LRP and investment of capital budget in the region

QUALIFICATION:

The expected candidate should have one of the below qualifications

- Graduate / Post Graduate in Finance from reputed University

- Chartered Accountant or Cost Work Accountant

- Engineering degree in any branch with Finance Qualification or experience on a finance platform in reputed industries

- Graduate in any degree and worked in finance platform for a considerable time

- Cost engineering experience shall be added advantage

ESSENTIAL SKILL:

- Should be well versed in Computers and Savvy, exposure in MS Project, Primavera shall be an added advantage

- High proficiency of usage in SAP platform

- Good English communication skill - speaking and writing
