Platform & Data Lead
What you need to know about this position:
- The Platform & Data Lead will be responsible for Web & App Tech Management for all owned media platforms like Desserts Corner, TJK & and Playpad and executing the Data strategy by enriching & and monetizing first-party data.
- Product/technology leader having the ability to build & and grow platforms by ensuring constant improvements are made to user journeys.
- Ability to think & and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design new features & and ensure key product & and brand metrics are met.
- Monitor the performance of live web platforms & and apps and work on optimizing them at the code level.
- Lead MarTech stack management by having ownership of architecture, technology choices, partner management & and integrations.

Education / Certifications:- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field. Knowledge of the other skill (marketing or crm) expected to have been developed during work experience.
- 8+ years of experience in a platform development/software development, solution-based product/platform leader in consumer facing businesses - FMCG, Retail, Telecom, Financial services.

- Infrastructural capability enhancement with timely updation to keep up with technology trends and driving cost efficiency with innovative implementations & tech work arounds
- Deliver business impact through effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders for audience development, campaign creation and content delivery.
- Team management experience
- Must have delivered/worked on best-in-class consumer facing tech products in the past.
- Excellent knowledge of programming languages, knowledge of code versioning tools & databases
- Excellent project management skills, solid analytical and debugging skills
- Working closely with brand marketing teams in enabling digital marketing/ consumer engagement
Platform Management:- Manage day-to-day technical challenges and resolve risks, issues and testing with tech vendors.
- Understanding of software development life cycle and agile project methodologies. Plus understanding of DevOps tools.
- Delivering functional specification documents, implementation plans, status reports for all the key stakeholders
New Product Development:- Planning and execution of tasks related new feature or new platform development. Integrating software components & third-party tools as needed.
- Solid understanding of UI/UX & front-end platform development
- Being aware of the limits of technology - from low-code to tailor made development approach, integrating the advantages of both
Data Strategy:- Defining a data strategy, data governance practice, data models & how to democratize data to unlock ROI across CX, CRM & last mile conversion.
- CDP ownership, consent management, data enrichment, data cataloging etc.
- Work with data & analytics team to deploy test & learns on CDP cohorts. Highlight best practices to the wider teams & archive test results.
MarTech Stack Management:
Architecture, technology choices:
- Manage design and implementation of MarTech architecture
- Undertake MarTech infrastructure management and maintenance on a continuous basis
- Research and recommend new tech products and partnerships; Identify and sundown the outdated and non-utility products
Partnership management:- Conduct efficient scouting and due diligence of the vendors
- Establish communication and conduct negotiation on key requirements, SLAs, performance and pricing
- Lead regular reviews on SLA KPIs with technology partners; refresh contracting based on best practices and performance
Integration and readiness for use:- Set up and manage downstream integrations for the CDP with advertising platforms
- Enable data capture and integration across digitized and non-digitized sources via the implementation/integration of tools/APIs/connections across sources
- Help design and manage data flows through stack all the way from source of engagement/ acquisition to utilization in campaigns
- Monitor and review security, data privacy and compliance of technology products/infrastructure
- Enabling new data-led ways of working:
- Guide business teams on the usage of tech products (e.g. Lytics, GA etc), in collaboration with tech partners
- Conduct or facilitate trainings for inhouse team
- Assist in technical aspects of ad campaign setup and implementation
