Purpose of the Role:
- In this role you will have the opportunity to make a big impact on our business performance as you support the data strategy and lead the ideation, development and execution of custom models, algorithms and applications that enable business growth and revenue generation.
- Working in close partnership with the business leadership team, you will develop the strategic vision & roadmap for data and analytics in revenue growth management, retail execution and sales data domains, in line with the Mondelez commercial agenda.
- You will also enable and evolve analytical products as part of the analytics strategy to support key business decisions, drive business improvements and deliver business value. Identify opportunities to leverage advanced analytics to support Sales digitization.
How you will contribute:
1. Collaborate with Global Sales MDS, Global RGM and Sales CoE's, Regional teams to create the analytics strategy.
2. As part of the strategy, innovate enabling new sales processes or drive superior value through technological advancements and new data sets.
3. Scale proven products through reusable assets (data products, product playbooks), DevOps tool chain and co-create RACI's with different D&A functions eg. Regional D&A, Application support, Data as a service Team, Infrastructure and Architecture.
4. Accountable for the implementation and adoption, value realization of analytical products end-to-end and their success over the product life cycle, with technical debt reduction and simplification a key objective.
5. Accountable for creating sales data domains with internal and external data sets, driving reusability supporting self service reporting, AI models and enterprise applications. Key objective would be to increase data coverage, usage, access and literacy in the organization.
6. Lead a product-oriented delivery model team consisting of product managers, product owners, data scientist, architects, and engineers.
7. Building capability within the teams including leading, coaching, guiding and inspiring the direct and indirect internal & external teams, multifunctional teams in region & business units in order to build a robust ecosystem that can deliver and embed analytics in the identified business processes.
8. Managing and overseeing funds, securing the necessary funding to drive analytics agenda as well as tracking spends judiciously and negotiating with partners to ensure money is spent on right priorities as well as manage typical project risks with right interventions proactively.
Experience & Background Recommendation:-
- 'A minimum of 15 years of IT/IT facing and business/industry work experience, with experience in managing cross-functional teams or projects. Deep experience of sales execution and/or Revenue Growth management required.
- Minimum of 5 years of analytics experience, as well as traditional business intelligence experience, within IT or business function.
- Requires strong leadership and alignment defining right priorities for the team and removing barriers to execution as needed.
Data & analytics skills:
- Must have a good understanding of the concepts, methods and techniques used:
- Analytics, for example diagnostic, descriptive, predictive and prescriptive.
- AI, for example machine learning, natural language processing.
- Data management, for example data integration (ETL) or metadata.
- Data architecture, for example the difference between data warehouse, data lake or data hub.
- Data modelling, for creation of right reusable data assets
- Data governance, for example MDM, data quality and data stewardship practices.
- Statistical skills, for example understanding the difference between correlation and causation.
Technology skills:
- Good understanding of the tools and technologies in the D&A team:
- Programming languages like SQL, Python or R and notebooks like R Studio or Jupyter.
- Data integration tools like Informatica or Talend.
- Analytics and Business Intelligence tools like Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.

- Leadership with high level of self-initiative and drive, for example leading the discussions on D&A agenda in the region and building a combined vision across multiple stakeholders.
