Moglix - Senior Manager/Manager - Supplier Quality

Role Objective:

- We are looking for an individual responsible for Supplier Quality Assurance, ensuring delivering quality products to customers. He will work across Sourcing, Warehousing and business functions to develop & implement Inspection processes across MRO categories, resolve technical & quality challenges faced across Supply chain.

Role Responsibilities:

- Managing Supplier's Quality in Enterprise business to ensure customer expectations are met in terms of quality and timeline.

- Evaluate the impact of internal and external non-conformances and take a lead in problem solving activities, drive root cause and corrective actions with suppliers to eliminate recurrence of non-conformances

- Assist supplier in preparing and implementing CAPA, 8D (RCA), First Article, process of record (like PPAP approach) and Problem Report (supplier deviations, Engineering queries) etc.

- Drive supplier improvement through virtual assessment, manage, scorecard and support supplier qualification processes.

- Collaborate with Supply Chain and engineering business value enhancement opportunities.

Mandatory Skills required to perform the Job:

- Working knowledge on various types of metal welding and mechanical assembly procedures. Basic understanding & interpretation of mechanical assembly drawing.

- Strong ability to read mechanical assembly drawings, welding symbols ,sampling inspection and GD&T.

- Proficient in problem solving tools like 8D, 5 why, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA etc.

- Basic understanding of test report, BOM interpretation, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Statistical Process Control (SPC) practiced at supplier end.

- Experience in handling suppliers from remote location.

- Excellent communication & presentation skills.
