Role Objective: The incumbent will be responsible for finance controllership and direction for Manufacturing Plant accounting.
Role Responsibilities:
- End to end responsibility of finance and accounting function, including cost accounting, book closing, inventory management, audits, financial controls and compliances for multiple legal entities.
- Handling audits and all deliverables related to compliances including corporate matters.
- Support business from a financial viewpoint including profitability analysis, margin profiling and other financial analytics needs.
- Formulate & drive business plans / strategies for existing and new plants
- ERP implementation for Plant Accounting
- Evaluate ROI of all capex related decisions
- Plant accounting and variance analysis across products
- Co-own the P&L and KPIs along with plant heads.
- Responsible for Bill of Material costing and decision making on pricing
- Anchor monthly performance reviews with Sales / Segment Heads
- Drive operational excellence through deep-dive analytic on capacity utilization
- Data analysis and visualization/presentations explaining financial & business results
Qualification and Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in Business finance/ controller ship role, leading finance teams in either large corporate or manufacturing plants/organizations
Work Experience:
- Exposure to financial reporting standards, financial analysis, tax regulations, laws and any other compliance requirements
- Should have exposure to ERP systems such as Tally, SAP, Oracle Netsuite etc.
- Good communication & people management skills
- High level of ownership, willingness to set up things from scratch
Knowledge/ Skills:
- Ability to work in an unstructured environment
- Should be expressive with good interpersonal skills.
Education: Chartered Accountant
