Role Objective :
- Provide legal direction and manage contractual matters and related regulatory issues, including compliance on contractual arrangements and commercial transactions.
- Develop a corporate and socially sustainability framework by advising on good governance practices and compliance of corporate governance norms as prescribed under various corporate, securities, and other business laws.
- Examination and approval of contractual and legal documents, vetting forms of agreements, contracts, sub contracts and non-standard conditions
Role Responsibilities :
- Handle all corporate legal matters incl. legal agreements/ business contracts/JV agreements/ MOU / all legal
- Advise on legal matters including company law, exchange control, competition law; liaise with external counsels.
- Manage legal aspects including due diligence, document review, identification and resolution of operational and legal issues, obtaining of regulatory and third-party approvals and closing.
- Advise on evidentiary related issues, coordinating with external counsels and law firms
- Handle statutory compliance programs; policy/ internal guidelines/SOPs formulation. Advise on compliance with internal policies, statutes, and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage litigation and pre-litigation matters including troublesome practice matters; drafting and review of associated documentation such as notices, rejoinders, plaints, written statements etc.
- Develop and monitor contractual risks and action plans as well as support overall strategies to support deal closure while ensuring that contractual risks are effectively mitigated.
- Handle cases pertaining to agreements, arbitration, negotiable instruments act, labour cases, civil suits & other litigation of the company
- Ensure regulatory & secretarial compliances related to all offices across locations including international geographies
- Filing, registering any document including forms, returns, and applications by and on behalf of the company
- Stay up to date with evolving industry/regulatory changes impacting the business and participate in appropriate control forums aspects of mergers & acquisitions, restructures, strategic alliances etc.

Business Teams - Discuss work-related issues, plans with all internal stakeholders
External: Buyer/ Client/ Suppliers/Vendors- External stakeholder management
Work Experience :
- 8-10 years of experience in similar profile with strong understanding of legal/compliance aspects
Knowledge/Skills :
- Good communication & people management skills
- Sound knowledge of interpretation of law, understanding of business
- High level of ownership, willingness to set up things from scratch
Education : LLB + CS
