Role Objective:
We are looking for a high-impact and high-energy techno-commercial professional who will be responsible for driving the overall category KPIs including GMV, GM% & new supplier development. The role requires a high caliber person with an ability to succeed in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment while maintaining high levels of business acumen, operational rigor, and business excellence.
Role Responsibilities:
- Managing the complete supply portfolio pan India in the defined category by identifying and maintaining excellent working relationships with suppliers & manufacturers.
- Work out best sourcing strategies aligned with the customer requirements to grow the overall financial health of the category including inbound RFQ win rate, GMV, GM% and delivery times - Play the role of product evangelist for the product category and recommend best in class solutions to KAMs & customers around Value Engineering, recommendation on specifications, etc.
- Work with third parties for product approval, inspections and arranging certificates which are required in the product category for
- Responsible for maintaining and enriching the category catalogue by introducing new SKUs, suppliers, brands & manufacturers
Qualification & Experience:
- 4-8 years of experience in sourcing/Sales of pipes, fittings & valves
- Techno commercial understanding of the products & industry know how
- Strong sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management skills
- B. Tech (Mechanical/Production/Industrial) MBA- Optional
