Job Title: Product Head- Mocomi
Reports to: CEO
Location: Pune
Job Purpose: Make Mocomi No.1 kids platform in India. Maximizing business value of all Mocomi channels including website, apps
Key Responsibilities:
Define & Structure
- Target Group: Kids between the age of 6 to 12 years
- Define channels based on research & user experience
- Define product strategy & product roadmaps
- Apply broad knowledge of company’s product/service capabilities and competitive environment to identify new growth areas, new technology and emerging product/service opportunities.
- Identifies, evaluates and recommends marketing opportunities consistent with product line and solution objectives.
Build & Execute
- Convert market requirement into product requirement
- Improving user experience. Site design and Usability analysis. Enhance current products
- Convert into consistent experience across platforms
- Work intimately with designers and developers to refine and build product and features
Commercialize and Earn
- Putting in place a suitable strategy, leveraging digital media to drive traffic & increase repeat visits
- Identifying potential partner relationships for the product
- Enabling multiple revenue models & ensuring suitable monetization by channels
- Implement and analyze SEO/SEM campaigns
Monitoring & Improvement
- Identify and analyze metrics in order to track the success of the product and use the learning for product innovations and improvements
- Conducting regular competition analysis and recommending plan of action
Skills:
- Knowledge of technology and the internet, especially social media and web 2.0 technologies
- Strong awareness of emerging web trends
- Proven ability to recommend smart feature (customer experience) versus time-to-market trade-offs
- Experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and assertions of business value
- Business acumen, interpersonal skills, and quantitative analytical abilities
- Strong business analytical skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication (spoken and written) and influencing skills and an ability to navigate a complex and unstructured cross-functional environment.
Experience:
- 5+ years of total experience. 2+ years of product management experience preferably in online content business.
- Experience in launching, managing and growing products
- Business development for content based startup company
Qualification: MBA
Computer Science/Engineering degree/ MCA/M.Tech
Personality:
- Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality
- Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view & communicate own views to the team
- Able to get on with others and be a team-player
- Ability to think big and to inspire passion in others
Compensation
