Mobycy - Finance Manager - Accountant

We're creating the next Uber-like business which will solve a big problem in India by means of cycles. The business is being created by a proven result oriented team. The startup is currently in Launch mode & is looking for Accountant, who can help support the financial department.

Role/ Designation: Finance Manager - Accountant

Job Description: We are looking for an Accountant, who will help to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

1) Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded

2) Update accounts receivable and issue invoices

3) Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations

4) Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines

5) Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned

6) Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed

7) Prepare and submit weekly / monthly reports

8) Assist with other accounting projects

9) GST, Tax filings for the company

10) Salary processing for the employees

11) Co-ordination for ROC filing and compliances if any

Requirements:

- Proven experience in finance, accountancy

- Excellent organizing abilities

- Great attention to detail

- Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen

- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices

Compensation: The compensation package will include 2 components:

- Equity Share

- Startup Salary
