Mobile Architect - Cloud Based SaaS

The selected candidate in this position serves as a Mobile Architect on Azure Cloud Based SaaS team for current and future mobile projects in the IT Portfolio.

The Mobile Architect will serve as the primary technical architect for the projects on mobile platform. The Mobile Architect will also be a key participant in project planning and in the creation and review of technical deliverables. The Mobile Architect will guide and mentor the technical team in all phases of the SDLC, including requirement validation, detail design, development, and implementation.

**Candidates should have Enterprise Level experience performing Architecture & hands on Development with iOS and Android Mobile technologies. **

Specific Duties:

1. Serve as the lead architect and designer of Mobile Applications primarily targeting the IOS and/or Android Operating Systems.

2. Propose comprehensive solutions based on business and technical requirements

3. Participate in efforts to create Ball Park Estimates.

4. Architect, design and develop user interface, service tier and data tier components for Mobile Applications.

5. Develop standards, repeatable processes, and reusable components

6. Participate in project planning, including developing of timelines, propose composition of technical teams, and levelling of resources.

7. Mentor technical team leads and developers on the processes and standards to promote consistency and improve productivity.

8. Assist in the development and review of technical deliverables on projects.

9. Participate in the full SDLC process (including coding) of Mobile Application solutions, using Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Titanium, Dojo, Objective-C, and JSON and web services.

Skills:

1. Full SDLC experience as an applications developer Required 10 Years.

2. Experience in Architecting and Design Enterprise Application on Mobile Platform – 3 years.

3. Experience with Titanium and Objective-C applications development Required 3 Years.

4. Experience in web Services design & development (SOAP/XML and REST/JSON) in enterprise scenarios Required 5 Years

5. Experience in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Dojo and 1+ years in Dojo Mobile Required 5 Years

6. Experience with Single Sign On, SAML, LDAP, AD integration, OAuth Required 5 Years

7. Experience developing hybrid mobile applications using Titanium Required 2-3 Years

8. Experience developing Android and iPad (iOS) tablet applications Required 3 Years

9. Experience with mobile SDKs for UX, Media, Maps, Web services, Security integration Required 3 Years

10. Strong oral and written communication skills Required

11. Leading technical and cross-functional teams to develop and deploy mobile apps

12. Working Knowledge of Titanium, Rho Mobile and other mobile development approaches

Desired:

1. Experience with Object Oriented Design and UML Desired

2. Experience with or knowledge of Design Patterns and Enterprise Integration Patterns. Desired
