MobiKwik - SEO Copywriter

We are looking for an SEO Content writer to help us drive organic growth by acquiring users. The person will be responsible for improving the organic rankings and increasing the top funnel organic traffic for both MobiKwik, the wallet and BNPL company and Zaakpay, payment gateway by MobiKwik.

Founded in 2009 by Bipin Preet Singh and Upasana Taku, we commenced operations as a mobile wallet to make digital payments convenient for our users. Our use cases have since expanded to include bill payments, e-commerce shopping, food delivery, payments at petrol pumps, pharmacies, kirana stores, etc. Our platform also enables peer-to-peer payments via UPI, MobiKwik Wallet as well as MobiKwik Wallet to bank payments.

- To further enhance our value proposition to our online merchants, we introduced our payment gateway subsidiary Zaakpay in 2012. Zaakpay enables online websites and mobile apps to collect payments from their users using multiple payment options, including debit cards, credit cards, mobile wallets, UPI, and net banking.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Developing content for blogs, articles, page/ product descriptions, and the company website.

- Writing, editing, and publishing high-quality editorial content targeted for MobiKwik's B2C and Zaakpay's B2B customers

- Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics to identify customer needs and gaps in our content; to recommend new topics and develop original content

- Working closely with our content freelancers, SEO agency, and Product team to audit and improve the brand's SEO performance and measure website traffic

- Developing short-term and long-term technical SEO strategies as per the SEO roadmap

- Creating and following an editorial calendar and collaborating with other members of the marketing team to ensure timely delivery of materials

- Monitoring and analysing the key performance indicators (KPIs) to offer suggestions for improvement

- Using SEO recommendations and best practices to write content

Qualifications & Skills :

- Degree in Marketing and 3-4 years of relevant work experience

- Working knowledge of content management systems

- Having worked with any FinTech brand in the past is a plus

- Excellent writing, proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail

- Experience in editing and publishing content using WordPress
