Job Description: CityHead - Sales
Position Overview:
The City Head -Sales is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team of sales professionals, and achieving revenue targets within a specific city or urban area. The role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, people management, and hands-on sales expertise to lead the sales efforts effectively and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the assigned city, aligned with the overall company objectives.
- Identify target market segments, customer profiles, and potential growth opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to refine the sales approach.
Revenue Generation:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and market share objectives for the city.
- Create and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and plans to meet or surpass financial targets.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders to drive business expansion.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Recruit, onboard, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and continuous training to enhance team members' sales skills and product knowledge.
- Set clear performance expectations, regularly monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and motivated team culture that encourages innovation and achievement.
Sales Operations:
- Oversee the daily operations of the sales team, including lead generation, prospecting, negotiations, and deal closures.
- Monitor and analyze sales metrics, pipeline health, conversion rates, and other relevant KPIs.
- Implement effective sales processes, tools, and technologies to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in the city.
- Address customer concerns, inquiries, and feedback promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions that meet customer needs.
Market Analysis and Insights:
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to make informed strategic decisions.
- Provide market insights and feedback to the senior management team for product/service enhancement and development.
Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare regular sales reports, presentations, and performance reviews for senior management.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities effectively to the leadership team.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven track record of successful sales leadership, preferably in a similar role or industry.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, strategies, and customer relationship management.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in using sales management software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
