Product Specification

BankFusion Universal Banking is a modern, state of the art, scalable, J2EE, SOA based universal banking solution that has been widely deployed by a large number of banks and financial institutions around the globe. It is a multi-channel solution that supports branches, internet banking, ATM and point of sale. Its multi-dimensional data model allows banks to get a holistic 360 degree view of their customers.

Job Location: Bangalore, India

Responsibilities include

- Designing and developing enterprise class highly scalable mission critical applications

- Collaborating with product management, testing and external customers to deliver innovative, highly usable products and modules

- Reviewing business requirements and coming up with high level time and cost estimates

- Producing technical design and solution approach for new products/modules

- Hands-on coding (at least 25% of the time) and code reviews for team members

- Full ownership and accountability to deliver on agreed upon plans within budget, on schedule and to defined quality standards.

- Regular use/reporting of metrics for resource allocation, software defects, productivity, and efficiency.

- Ensuring commitments and progress to schedules remain clear, reasonable, and are proactively monitored.

- Recruiting new talent and coaching team members to build a world class agile development team of 5-15 engineers

- Establishment of performance goals for all team members.

Required Domain Experience

- Demonstrated expertise in building innovative, scalable, high performance and secure enterprise-class products

- 8+ years of experience in enterprise SW development, preferably in a distributed team

- 3+ years of experience as a people manager

- 3+ years of experience in J2EE, SOA, EAI, Workflow and Web Services technologies.

- Must be knowledgeable in relational databases (DB2, MS-SQL, Oracle)

- Prior experience in Agile/Scrum and secure development methodologies

- Banking or financial industry experience is a plus

- BE/B. Tech - CS/ECE

- Ability to shape ideas and opinions through proper communications and networking with key stakeholders using one’s knowledge and experience.
