Education:Graduate /Post Graduate (preferably MBA)
Key Responsibilities:
Information Management:
- Understand the business requirements of the function
- Implement MIS solutions to meet the business requirements
- Develop and implement standardized MIS processes to ensure data accuracy and security
- Ensure that data in the MIS is updated as per defined timelines and process
- Provide accurate and timely information as required
- Manage the end to end report generation process (defining the reports required, data points in the report, accuracy of the reports and timely generation)
- Provide suggestions for improving the data points generated in the report
- Analyze the data points in the reports and highlight deviations
- Monitor MIS performance regularly to avoid unplanned outages and down times
- Coordinate with IT team to ensure MIS system is fully operational, for generating new report formats and updating the existing report formats
- Work with IT team to resolve issues related to OS, network problems and software installations
- Conduct training on MIS system and activities to enhance staff expertise in this area
- Validate and approve requests for adhoc reports
- Ensure accurate updation of OTB in the system after obtaining the necessary approvals from the Planning Head .
Business Solutions:
- Work with the Planning Head to identify opportunities where MIS could provide more effective business solutions
- Implement business intelligence solutions to optimize the utilization of business information
- Recommend and implement new technology solutions to improve productivity .
People Management:
- Set expectations and give regular feedback to team
- Provide adequate support and motivate the team to deliver on the job
- Guide, coach, train and develop the team
- Ensure high engagement levels in the team
