Desired Candidate Profile :

Technologies experience :

- Architect to re-vamp the existing world tracer web with a new interactive design. A 40 member team.

- Expertise in architecting large OLTP applications using one or more of development technologies such as JEE, Spring, JSF, Hibernate, MQ, XML, Web Services, JavaScript, SOA, Hibernate, Drools, JBPM, Oracle, MySQL, TIBCO, ETL, Messaging/MQ/MSMQ, WebServices.

- Expertise in provide architecture solutions and recommendations that are technology neutral.

- Experience in defining & realizing end-to-end Solution Architecture for large & complex systems

- 10+ years of experience in IT including at least 3 years in Architecture roles

- 5+ years with hands-on experience Java/JEE ; Struts/JSF, Spring, EJB, JMS & ORM Deep expertise in at least one application server (JBoss | Weblogic server | WebSphere server)

- 2+ years of experience in SOA definition and realization

- 2+ years of experience with at least one messaging platform (Websphere MQ | Tibco Rendezvous)

- At least one year of experience in using any of the BPM, ESB & Rule engine tools/products

- Strong experience in at least one RDBMS (Oracle | DB2 | MySQL) Proficient in UNIX/Linux environments

- Proficient in RIA & Web 2.0 related technologies

- Hands on experience in using Maven, JUnit, JProfiler/JProbe

- Strength in OOAD using UML & in application of design patterns

- Exposure to tools like Rational suite, Enterprise Architect, Eclipse, and Source code versioning systems like CVS/SVN

- Experience with different development methodologies (RUP | Scrum | XP) Expertise in creating technical documents like Architecture views, Technology Architecture blueprint and Design specification

- Experience in Architecture consulting engagements is a plus

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide expert technical consultancy and guidance to EG-IT dealing within the technology area and act as lead technical member in the Project team delivering the work packages assigned.

- Ensure that the developed architecture/solution meets the service level requirements in terms of expected availability, capacity, continuity, security, performance and reliability. Foster the development of high performing technical teams to meet strategic architectural objectives.

- Collaborate with EG-IT to identify and define standards and metrics on the relevant technology. Monitor current performance and to ensure appropriate levels of capacity, quality, service level and resources and solutions are optimally tuned.

- Provide guidance to Project managers / Technology Team Managers for solution definition, technical design and development of in house developed solutions. These are to be delivered as per agreed costs and timescales to meet signed off functional, technical and process requirements.

- Publish and maintain high quality documentation for technology area. Working within the standard templates and documentation guidelines which include detailed design, configuration details, support procedures, operations manuals and deployment architecture.

- Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architects and provide recommendation on technology roadmaps in the technology area.
