Position/Title : Delivery head /General Manager
Job location : Hyderabad
Below are the high level expectations from the DH :
- Deep understanding of Delivery & People management
- At least 16- 18 years of Delivery background
- From a Tier 1 organization
- Has managed a delivery set up of similar scale in his past experience ( ~1000 people)
- Has spent time, at least 4-5 yrs, in customer facing roles at onsite (pref)
- Revenue management - has experience in managing the revenue targets of the IG
- Gross Margins sensitive and ability to improvise GM's
- Proven experience in building teams from scratch
Competency building : should be able to streamline the hiring process based on the current trends and work towards building scale
- Has a good over all understating Dev/Test/Support areas
- Is pro-active rather than reactive
- Having DH onsite experience will be an added advantage
Experience and Expertise - in following areas. :
Following rounds we will use to cover other aspects of the individual including fit for the role, individual aspirations, and any areas which a previous round asks to deep dive into
Experience in Delivery Management :
- Nature of engagements, Size
- Experience with IMTS, Testing, DW engagements
- Experience with Agile, Dev Ops
- Experience with or views on merging of test and engineering responsibilities for developers
- Experience in estimating, costing for Fixed Price, Managed Services engagements
- Experience in managing work across centers
Experience in Customer Interaction :
- Onsite stints
- Experience in proposal defense, presentations
- Experience in customer interaction while performing offshore delivery role
Experience in Financials and Operations :
- Revenue handled
- Margin levers. Experience and Responsibilities here. Understanding of margin levers and their impact.
- Experience in tracking, improving margins
- Experience in ramping up,scaling teams in india
Experience in People Management :
- Profiles of people reporting into him, experience in managing and guiding senior people
- Experience in managing direct reports
- Experience in directing, influencing broader people satisfaction in teams
