Role Summary:
Training Manager will lead the coordination and execution of employee training and FC Managerial cadre onboarding/development activities. This role will be responsible for executing learning requirements of existing and new hires (Blue collar and Managerial staff) at each Fulfillment centers and ensure adherence to training mandates on new programs/updates as well as refresher training. The incumbent will also be responsible for developing digital training infrastructure for training at scale and speed.
Key Focus Areas:
- Develop standard training materials capturing all processes within FC operations. Manage the entire content library (existing and new), ensure standardization by engaging with vendors. Customize and adapt training content/programs to meet regional/Hub level needs.
- Ensure completion of all new processes launch training and refresher training across all locations by partnering with regional/hub leadership. Track compliance to training programs on an ongoing basis.
- Responsible for complete new-hire training for Hub teams (Blue Collar and Managerial staff) utilizing hybrid mode of delivery (facilitator-led training, & online learning modules). Ensure learning resources are readily available, and accessible to all new joinees.
- Identify and develop training POCs (Learning Gurus/Buddy) through Train the Trainer (TAT) programs. Build a system of regular certification for POCs through skill verification.
- Partner with operations leadership across all regions to identify training or skill development needs, including Managerial technical or behavioral training, and implement corresponding programs to fill the gap.
- Continuously analyze and understand training data to suggest improvements for capability building for FC workforce.
Desired Candidate:
- Has a steady progression in Training/Learning Management for the last 2 years (overall 4-6 years) in the manufacturing/ production/ distribution/ transportation and logistics sector.
- Preferably with a Master's degree in HR, Management or Psychology.
- Must have handled execution of training programs for both Managerial and contract staff in a decentralized setup.
- Proficiency in creating learning content and driving learning through the Learning Management System. Good knowledge of tools associated with content development, evidence of ability to prioritize, manage and complete projects with tight deadlines
- Can demonstrate a true hands-on approach, an understanding of instructional design practices, a data-driven, analytical mindset and knowledge of Logistics/ distribution operations.
- Experience in data analytics and interpreting data using advanced Excel techniques.
