Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership :
- Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve organic search performance.
- Conduct in-depth SEO audits and present actionable insights and recommendations.
- Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and industry best practices.
Team Management :
- Lead and mentor a team of SEO specialists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Coordinate with remote teams to ensure alignment and efficient execution of SEO initiatives.
- Set clear goals and KPIs for the team and monitor progress.
Technical SEO :
- Oversee technical SEO initiatives including site architecture, indexing, crawlability, and page speed optimization.
- Work closely with web developers to implement technical SEO improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical SEO issues.
Content Strategy :
- Collaborate with content teams to develop and optimize SEO-friendly content.
- Ensure content aligns with SEO best practices and targets relevant keywords.
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to guide content creation.
Performance Analysis :
- Utilize SEO tools and analytics to monitor performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare regular reports on SEO performance, including traffic, rankings, and conversions.
- Use data-driven insights to adjust strategies and improve ROI.
Client Relations :
- Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored SEO solutions.
- Communicate SEO strategies, progress, and results to clients in a clear and effective manner.
- Address client concerns and provide ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in SEO, with a proven record of accomplishment of driving organic growth and solving technical problems.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
- Experience with technical SEO, including site audits, schema markup, and site speed optimization.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with remote teams and managing cross-functional projects.
- Ability to empathize with clients and understand their business challenges.
