Job Title : Specialist - Process Excellence
Key Roles & Responsibilities :
Process Excellence :
- Responsible for coordinating, organizing and supporting execution of process improvement projects (LEAN and DMAIC) for business units under Maritime.
- Collect/ Extract data from various sources and execute statistical analyses and hypothesis testing in order to identify operations gap, and develop and implement specific and measurable improvement plans.
- Proactively identify and prepare business cases for opportunities to improve processes in conjunction with the concerned process owners.
- Assist with development of visual data/ indicator and management of KPI for improving business monitoring and controllership.
- Manage stakeholder issues and expectations and recommend (and implement if needed) possible solutions.
Market Analysis & Strategy :
- Collect data through primary or secondary sources and analyze trends in local and regional logistics market and global shipping sectors - prepare briefs and support strategy formulation for various business units.
- Construct detailed forecasting models for various businesses.
- Work collaboratively with business leaders and / or other project team members in business case development.
Training And Development :
- Learn (on- work) about various businesses and markets and develop own insights on possible improvement measures leading to tangible improvements either operationally or financially.
- Enable implementation of Lean training program across operations unit.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
