Miko - Head - Design - App UX

Responsibilities:

Design Leadership & Mentorship:

- Lead and mentor the design team, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.

- Set the design vision and direction for the Miko App.

- Provide coaching and mentorship to develop the skills and talents of the design team.

User-Centric Design & Innovation:

- Oversee the design and UX of the Miko App, ensuring it is engaging and aligns with child development principles.

- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather user feedback and inform design decisions.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest design trends and best practices in children's educational apps.

Collaboration & Communication:

- Collaborate closely with the Product and Tech teams to ensure seamless integration of the design vision into the development process.

- Effectively communicate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders across departments.

Safety & Compliance:

- Ensure all designs adhere to the highest safety and privacy standards, particularly those relevant to children's products.

Qualifications:

- 1-3 years of experience in design leadership, with a proven track record of managing design teams and projects from concept to completion.

- Strong portfolio showcasing design work focused on children's products, particularly screen-based applications.

- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
