Whom are we looking for?

- This project offers an opportunity to join a combined team from a global strategy consulting firm and a leading bank in the Philippines.

- The engagement is part of a large retail banking technology transformation program which includes the implementation of a new core banking solution. To support the project team, there is a need for an experienced Migration Project Manager with proven experience delivering large scale data migrations (data mapping, validation, migration, testing, reconciliation etc.) within a complex banking environment comprising of a wide array of business, technology and 3rd party stakeholders.

Role Scope:

- Analyze the source data in legacy systems and map it to the target data structure in the new environment, ensuring data compatibility and consistency

- Develop comprehensive data validation plans and conduct rigorous testing to verify the accuracy and completeness of the migrated data

- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of data load cycles, both for test loads, and formal test cycles

Manage and coordinate business validation and reconciliation activities.

- Collaborate with the SI vendor for understanding system specifications and for data migration tasks

- Regularly update stakeholders, including project managers, IT teams, and business units, on testing progress, risks, and outcomes.

Requirements:

- Must have experience in migrating data to Temenos Transact for Secured and Unsecured Loans covering Retail and Commercial Banking

- Experience in using Data Migration tools

This will be an initial 6 month phase of work with options for further extensions.

The project is run in English and so there is no requirement for local language skills. The client is open to individuals already located in Manilla or those keen to re-locate for this engagement. Visa solutions and sponsorship is available.
