Middleware Manager

The role would lead the middleware team & provide day to day direction and coaching/mentorship to the team and leads middleware (WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, Jboss and Apache) operational support which includes administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, continuous service improvements, build & configuration, decommission and service requests.

Responsibilities :

- Individual will be leading a high-performance team that performs the following duties in support of the Line of Business (LOB) Middleware team:

- Build installation and Configuration

- High Availability and cluster management

- Java Exposure

- Security Configuration and Management

- Production Incident and Change Management

- WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, Jboss and Apache Upgrades and patching Maintenance

- Production Release Support

- Day to day Service Requests

- Monitoring and Health Checks

- Knowledge & experience of Venafi and Bladelogic tool

- Ensure incidents are tracked, investigated, resolved, and communicated accurately using internal incident management tools and systems.

- Provide thought leadership and change subject matter expertise throughout the change lifecycle; planning, execution and transition into a BAU

- 15+ years of Technology Infrastructure experience with 10 years experience with middleware tools preferably with WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, Jboss and Apache

- People management skills

- Hands on technical management experience

- Exposure & experience to SRE, AI, Machine Learning is a must

- Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure

- Experience in installation, configuration and upgrading of Middleware related products

- Should be strong in webservers and JDK concepts

- Should be an added advantage if prior experience on MQ and Scripting

- Skilled experience with Microsoft Suite, especially MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Project, and SharePoint

- Certifications If Any: ITIL, Middleware certifications

Experience Range : 15+ years of Technology Infrastructure experience.

Foundational skills : SRE, AI and Machine learning experience

Desired skills :

- Prior Banking/Financial Institutions Experience Preferred

- Patent filings

- Scripting experience
