The candidate would be a part of the Equity Middle Office function in Operations team and is expected to perform the following tasks but not limited to:

- Validate trade orders in the order management system as per IMA / Regulatory / Firm guidelines.

- Verifying the Trade Executions with the orders placed by the dealer.

- Proactively alert Fund Manager to avoid any breach to investment guidelines.

- On-going maintenance of investment restrictions & constraints in order management system for investment guideline monitoring on both a pre & post trade basis.

- Work closely with Fund managers, providing regular daily reports pertaining to portfolio status as well as ad hoc data from Bloomberg, etc. for supporting stock research and portfolio analytics.

- Oversight of financial accounting and maintaining books and records for firm and regulatory audit review

- Testing of new systems / functions, develop solutions by constantly looking at reducing risk and streamlining processes via process simplification, standardization, automation.

- Update client factsheets and presentations, on a monthly basis.

Expected Skills:

- Good understanding of Investment Management Operations. Capital market working knowledge.

- Knowledge of pre/post trade compliance (activities) systems

- Exhibit a strong sense of urgency, accountability and ownership of work. Deadline driven.

- Proactive and self-motivated

- Strong English language skills, both spoken and written. Candidate must be able to speak fluent English and draft e-mails independently.

- Strong foundation in Maths and Stats preferred.

- Very high proficiency with MS Office applications - Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

- Working knowledge of Bloomberg, Reuters.

- Maintain high accuracy with numbers. Present numbers as Graphs, Charts, Tables

- Good Team-player with ability to multitask and prioritize functions and tasks.

- Should be able to facilitate and execute the analysis of data and technical issues.

- The candidate needs to have an ALERT MIND with an ability to forecast implications on client portfolios based on local/global events and client directed action. High Focus on Risk Control.

- Working knowledge of Wealth Spectrum Order Management System, Portfolio Accounting software.

- Strong accounting knowledge is desirable.

Education Qualification: MBA/MMS (Finance) with 1+ years' experience or B.Com. with 2+ years of prior relevant experience in Domestic Capital Market.

Shift Time: India Day Shift (9:30 am to 6 pm)
