Middle Office New Account Specialist

GENERAL SUMMARY

Work in conjunction with the Managed Accounts Operations Manager to communicate and achieve internal organizational and divisional goals. (Majorly working with accounts opening for HNI Clients in Fixed Income)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide general support and opening of managed products new account paperwork (PA and DMP programs).

2. Support for all managed account operational functions including account opening, approvals, and performance.

3. Work with Pershing, and third party money managers to resolve operational issues.

4. Perform Special reconciliation Projects as assigned.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

May perform other reconciliation/reporting duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicant must have a strong operational background with knowledge of managed accounts, billing, trading and settlements reconciliation. Excellent quantitative, qualitative, and organizational skills. Ability to handle heavy work loads while remaining focused in fast paced team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Post graduate degree in Business or Finance required. 3-5 years professional experienced in brokerage operations, trade reconciliation support, or managed accounts.

1. Knowledge of operational new account opening processes, custody, and execution services

2. Ability to interface with all levels of Management

3. Ability to work independently

4. Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills

5. Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a high-stress, high-pressure environment

6. Exceptional written, verbal communication

7. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications or PC literacy in similar Windows based programs

8. Strong understanding of securities organizations, external processing agencies and exchanges in relation to our business.

9. Experience in a wide range of operations functions (settlements, domestic and international trading, margin,etc.)
