We are looking for an analytically strong Analyst/Senior Analyst to join our Middle Office group. The candidate will be responsible for driving various activities in the Middle Office which involve ensuring the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations and resolving issues in a timely manner.

Primary responsibilities include:

- Ensuring error free and timely daily support/deliverable and resolution of breaks/issues.

- Keeping reference data & security master up-to-date using sources like Reuters and Bloomberg.

- Creating and updating investment products in the firm's database and trading universe.

- Processing trades that are not booked by the desk and supporting P&L queries from the front office.

- Liaising with Strategy Operation (StratOps) groups, and ensuring confirmations and settlements are completed in a timely manner according to the Firm policy.

- Working closely with other team members to address operational issues.

- Supporting the group's deliverable during Night-Ops.

The ideal candidate should possess:

- A working knowledge of financial products such as equities, fixed income and derivatives.

- An understanding of the various stages of the trade life cycle.

- An understanding of data sources such as Reuters, Bloomberg etc.

- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

- High morale and be a self-motivated independent thinker with solid organizational skills.

- Strong interpersonal skills and be a team player.

- Effective oral/written communications skills.

- The ability to work under pressure and take on additional operational responsibilities.

Educational qualifications and preferred skills :

- CFA or working knowledge of other product classes i.e. Bonds, Credits, Rates etc.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and SQL.

- Ability to create VBA macro to automate the processes.
