Key Responsibilities:

Microsoft SCCM Tech Architect

- Manage the end to end service for a BHP Billiton defined business function

- Help improve and lead process, architecture and tool strategy

- Provide the subject matter expertise to lead the teams to achieve external assessments including QA's and pass client/external audits

- Provide Subject Matter Expert support for teams throughout the review process as necessary

- Responsible for confirming adequacy of staffing and staff proficiency for their respective service

- Responsible for verifying process compliance and improving the capability of their teams through training, continuous improvement programs

- Provide oversight to agreed continuous improvement projects and run work across multiple teams in the scope of the defined service

- Responsible for driving prioritization and integration of work within the relevant service, and across services where appropriate. This also includes the agreement of these priorities with GBIS counterparts. Develop and mentor team members in conjunction with other team leads

- Help build skills and capabilities in team members, and drive changes in resourcing where necessary

- Accountable for successful completion of work across teams

- Responsible for meeting the operational and related Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for their service

- Manage key vendor/supplier relationships supporting systems

- Responsible for maintaining relationships with GBIS retained organization leads as necessary

- Responsible for managing incidents, including major incidents within the defined business function

- Responsible for providing proactive identification of risks and issues

- Maintains and analyzes metrics to identify harmful trends

- Confirms tools are functioning correctly

- Confirms all technical functions including HA and DR are active and tested to the agreed contractual levels.

Major Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the end to end technical and business functionality of a BHP Billiton defined service.

- Included are managing incidents including Major Incidents, problems, client concerns, and third party relationships within the framework of the defined service function.

- Drives innovation into the team.

- Proactive focus on upcoming service improvements and identifies and suggests measures to prevent problems resulting from obsolescence of hardware and software, Capacity issues, throughput problems, tools requirements, monitoring improvements and skills improvements.

- Communicates concerns or improvements to Accenture and BHP Billiton effectively and proactively.
