Role : Sr Manager Strategic HR

Reporting to : VP Strategic HR
Role Overview :
The role has responsibility for working with all to develop a positive organisational culture, aligned to our values and which fosters accountability, innovation and continuous improvement. The role will be a key driver and leader in ensuring the effective development and implementation of HR strategies, policies and processes; and the specific HR strategies required to build capability..
Exposure :
- Exposure to the HR Leadership (alumni of XLRI & TISS); working to design and drive innovative talent solutions to cater to the rapidly evolving business needs of Microland
- Work closely with Change leaders to execute transformational assignments in a dynamic organizational context
- Exposure to best & next practices in HR strategy across India, US, Europe, Middle East, APAC
- Witness world class methodology of conducting diagnostic interventions and hence incept the futuristic strategic HR design
Key Responsibilities :
- Understand and appreciate the business priorities and prerogatives that influence key decision making in HR
- Enhance the People Engagement framework through innovative interventions to build collaborative culture
- Architect futuristic framework of Succession Planning that defines methodology of grooming leaders from within
- Make the best use of technology and social media to amplify (brand-breed-boost) channels of high talent impact
- Identify, design and implement general HR strategies and solutions to achieve agreed outcomes relating to: organisational design, organisational change, performance management, workforce and strategic planning.
- Driving the annual employee survey and partner with business to address key improvement areas
- Strategize and implement organisation branding in premier campuses, develop and drive the campaigns, Campus recruitment and engagement strategy
- Develop, execute and formalize an internship program for the Talent organization that is scalable and replicable across service lines
- Identify roles and professionals for Succession Planning in collaboration with the Business and developed Individual Development Plans for the identified professionals
Desired Skills and Experience :
- 10+ years of post MBA work experience with stability (max 2 changes) - ideal is 2005 & 2006 batch pass outs.
- HR degree from XLRI / TISS only
- Maintain contemporary knowledge on relevant industry standards and HR best practice trends
- Have well developed forward planning, analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions, evaluate people, and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization
- Able to energize and inspire others to commit to and take action on business priorities
