In India we specialize in recruitment at mid to senior level in multiple disciplines. Currently we have two offices in India- Gurgaon and Mumbai. To support our growth plans in India we are looking at hiring a young, dynamic individual for our Mumbai office. This role is with Michael Page and not with a client of Michael Page.
Your role :
Michael Page has grown organically over last 4 decades globally which means that we only hire at consultant level and provide tremendous growth opportunities to right individuals. Recruitment poses a very interesting opportunity as the product is human capital and not only you have to be strong at pitching a business or consulting but also equally strong at delivery. While in a typical consulting profile you consult and exit, here you are responsible for a strong delivery in terms of finding the right talent.
As a Recruitment consultant your responsibilities would include maintaining a healthy portfolio of candidates and clients. The role is to pitch business to new clients, understand their business needs and most importantly maintaining a healthy relationship and knowledge of product which is the candidate market. You will :
- Manage a spectrum of clients in Fortune-500, Large & Small Enterprises and SMBs
- Define your own strategy of development in line with the global strategy
- Acquire and develop your own portfolio of clients and candidates through networking and commercial actions
- Select and present the most suitable candidates to the clients, Advise both clients and candidates during the assignment
- Partner with senior stakeholders within Client organizations in determining and anticipating their human capital requirements
- Become a reference in your market while having ambitious business development objectives
Ideal Candidate :
- Ideally you have a MBA/Post graduate degree with 3-5 years of work experience in a client facing role. You are not shy to pick up the phone and make a warm/cold call to someone to pitch your business. You are persistent, resilient, have excellent communication skills, an amicable personality and hunger to succeed. You are competitive and appreciate being in a meritocratic culture where the work in years count for more than the years at work.
