Desired Exp - Must have a exposure in both RM & PM Procurement. (Raw material & Packaging material)

Qualification - Bachelor Degree / PG in Materials management desirable

Responsibilities:

- Work with OTC Category Managers/Directors in implementing sourcing strategies and specifics.

- This includes collaboration with OTC Category Managers/Directors in the selection and implementation of suitable supplier w.r.t quality, price, process, production conditions (GMP) and lead time.

- Good knowledge of Direct Materials and commonly used Procurement concepts, practices, and procedures is a requirement.

- Ensure materials arrive on-time, right quantity, right quality from approved suppliers as per plant operations/supply chain requirements.

- Resolve delivery, price, and backorder issues with suppliers.

- Coordinate supplier and material documentation requests in managing ERP master data and update system accordingly. Ensure accurate pricing, quotations, contact information, order quantities and lead times (where applicable)

- Support OTC Category Managers/Directors by being the site category champion in implementing sourcing studies, ensuring compliance to preferred suppliers and pricing agreements.

- Lead Operations Initiated Projects related to materials.

- Maintain effective supplier relationships, and monitor supplier performance. Resolve supplier quality and/or delivery issues.

- Collaborate with OTC Category Managers/Directors on Vendor Performance management/tracking

- Meet with suppliers, visit supplier facilities, and continually keep abreast of market, new and potential sources of supply.

- Interfaces with Supply Chain to develop mid- and long-range Master Production Schedule to ensure zero stock out of critical materials.

- Coaches sub-ordinates to build capabilities, skills and technical knowledge for subordinate in PM – hard and flexibles

- Ensures adequate resources are available to meet current and projected production volumes – Supplier Capability Program delivery

- Strong problem-solving capabilities derived from extensive knowledge on RM and PM for OTC, demonstrated track-record of continuous improvement with tangible business results at vendor end – part of Supplier capability program

- Strong leadership track-record with ability to foster high levels of ownership, accountability and technical competency at all levels within the organization in the procurement function.
