Client :

It is a leading Indian Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC) operating since 1997. The company is registered with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and listed on both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

Post: Manager / Sr Manager - Finance and Accounts

Responsibilities (in detail) :

- Preparation of Financial Statements of Holding, Subsidiaries and group companies -

- Preparation of quarterly financials & company results. Preparation of annual balance sheets, P&L, cash flows, IT returns. Liasioning with auditors for limited reviews & statutory audits.

- Monitoring of the loan portfolio from accounts perspective.

- Updating of inward & outward remittances for loans. Follow up for TDS credits & certificates.

- Reconciliation with business team & raising of monthly interest debit notes. Highlighting the overdue on weekly basis to the management for remedial action. Quarterly balance confirmations for parties.

- Monthly closure of books for statutory purposes

- Income & expense provisioning.

- Branch account reconciliations.

- Monitoring of stressed accounts for proper provisioning.

- Management of Team

- Checking & supervising the routine work.

- Solving the routine queries of the colleagues.

- Understanding the work done by each team member.

Statutory Compliances :

- Timely payments of direct & indirect taxes.

- Timely submission of statutory returns.

- Issuance of TDS certificates.

- Answering to notices & queries received from regulatory authorities.

- Audits by Internal & Statutory Auditors, Due Diligence & Special Audits, RBI, Government agency audits, etc

- Pro-active preparation of data required by auditors. Submitting the accurate data required for the audit.

- Resolving issues raised by auditors & ensuring no adverse remarks.

A qualified CA with 3-6 yrs experience.
