Position Profile: Manager / Sr. Manager / Dy. GM -VIP Support.
JOB SUMMARY and Role Purpose :
This position will provide one point of contact for all IT needs of the CEO’s office and lead , Manage the VIP support team. The individual is involved in the testing and rollout of new software packages, upgrades and new Mac hardware. This person troubleshoots hardware and software problems using troubleshooting techniques and checklists as guides. Individual documents problems and resolutions completely and concisely. This individual escalates to senior members of team when necessary. The level of work required is considered expert and staff must be able to work under general supervision.
- Will closely work with CEO, and Office staff and understand the IT requirements .
- Will design, document and deploy the IT solutions.
- Will coordinates with other departments, Corporate IT and vendors for solutions and issues resolutions.
- Provide leadership to the team and oversee the operation of team.
- Facilitates communication between staff, management, vendors, and other technology resources within the organization.
- Oversees the back office computer operations, including local area networks and wide-area networks and voice, data, imaging, and office automation.
- Designs, implements, and evaluates the systems that support end users in the productive use of computer hardware and software.
- Develops and implements user-training programs.
- Develop and implement the SOP and Checklists for process oriented organization.
- Oversees and evaluates system security and back up procedures.
- The candidate will be responsible for taking care of all IT and related needs of CEO
Qualifications / Experience
Essential Skills
- Excellent communicator, written and verbal.
- Good working experience on mobility devices like Blackberry, laptops, iOS devices, MAC, and communication devices
- Experience in supporting VVVIP personnel is a MUST
- Graduate or higher ,BE / B.Tech / Any IT related graduation.
- Should have 13-15 years of experience with
Significant experience on integration of Mac environment with back-end Microsoft server environment such as Exchange, SharePoint.
Should have overall knowledge of Wired and Wireless Network and perimeter and end point information and network security
Preferred Technical Skills
- Experience in other AV devices
- Mac OS X certification would be added advantage.

- The Ability to investigate issues or evaluate products and enable their support or deployment.
- To be able to work effectively to tight deadlines while providing high quality feedback to all relevant parties.
- Flexible in terms of availability
Key Accountabilities
1. Managing the entire IT requirements of CEO.
2. Following the checklist related to MAC and Blackberry before handover to CEO
3. Purchase of devices as instructed by CEO and their installation
4. Vendor Coordination in case of any requirements such as Installation of any device or electronic equipment at CEO’s home
5. Keep a record of each and every CD and DVDs of CEO
6. Ensuring Vodafone signal strength as per requirement
7. Taking care of CEO's Bill approvals for Mobile phone, data cards etc.
8. Taking care of every minute details of CEO's travel kit. Need to ensure all devices and all cables and accessories are provided in travel kit when CEO is travelling.
9. Ensure that all IT and hand held devices used by CEO are working properly
10. Providing software and hardware support for Mac Devices and other mobile devices such as blackberry, IPhone etc.
11. Ensure software, operating system at end user is updated and kept up to date.
12. Install various application software from App store and maintain them regularly
13. Maintenance of Apple Mail , iCal, Address Book and ensure that it would get sync error free with Exchange server 2007.
14. Maintain and sync Video, Music and photos on various devices.
15. Maintain the AV Integration systems at Office and residence with the help of entrusted vendor. Requirement documentation, design and deployment in consultation with vendor. Ensure timely implementation of same.
16. Ensure that Checklist frequency is defined. Checklist is done and records are maintained. Ensuring that actionable are effected, tracked and sorted out.
17. BlackBerry Support :
a. Installation, Configuration and Administration of BlackBerry Devices.
b. Installation, Configuration and Administration of BlackBerry Devices.
c. Providing hardware as well software support.
d. Ensure software , operating system at end user is updated and kept up-to-date.
e. Install approved application software from Blackberry stores and maintain them regularly.
f. Main the sync of contact on BB device and keep them up-to-date.
g. Maintain the Rules in GoogleApps , optimize the rules so as to have efficient folder transfers.
h. Ensure that SOP and Checklist are kept up-to-date and checklists are done at defined frequency and records are maintained.
i. Maintain the archive, convert them to Apple Format and sync them to Mac devices.
j. Blackberry administration for messaging environment and blackberry enterprise servers.
k. Prepare and update Technical documentation, Mail flow diagram, Reports and standard operation procedure.
18. providing hardware as well software support. Ensure software , operating system at end user is updated and kept up-to-date.
19. Install approved application software from Blackberry stores and maintain them regularly.
20. Maintain the sync of contact on BB device and keep them up-to-date.
21. Maintain the Rules Laptop , optimize the rules so as to have efficient folder transfers.
22. Ensure that SOP and Checklist are kept up-to-date and checklists are done at defined frequency and records are maintained.
23. Maintain the archive, convert them to Apple Format and sync them to Mac devices.
24. Prepare and update Technical documentation, Mail flow diagram, Reports and standard operation procedure.
25. Researches problems associated with the client's computing environment.
26. Provides documentation and training to peer service desk technicians on software/hardware issues.
27. Provides status reports, problem summaries, and project status as required
28. Performs Other duties as assigned
