Mgr/Sr Mgr - Data Analytics - BFSI

Mention below is the Job description for the Manager / Sr Manager with one of the leading insurance firm.

Responsibilities

- Interface with stakeholders to understand their needs

- Develop sophisticated analytical frameworks that add value to addressing problems

- Articulate and document project requirements and meetings

- Extract and format data, mine to answer specific business questions

- Use statistical tools to identify and evaluate the relationships between data fields and outcomes

- Investigate, define and resolve data and result inconsistencies

- Communicate project results in the clients business context

- Add value and enhance current best approaches to improve quality and increase productivity

- Timely completion of all deliverables allowing sufficient time for quality checks, analytic and business context reviews and associated revisions

Desired Skills & Experience

- 3 or more years of experience in the field of data analytics

- Hands on experience in data modelling

- Proficiency with SAS is must

- Ability to understand and transform data to meet the customer’s needs and business context

- Client focus to exceed client expectations

- Superior analytical and problem solving

- Good knowledge of statistics / econometrics

- Attention to detail and passion for accuracy

- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

- Good interpersonal skills and a team player
